The living, kitchen, and bathroom can become cold during the winter months.

This place was really awesome, one of the best hotel we stayed in South Africa. The rooms are really good, comfortable and nicely decorated. The owner is very nice and friendly person and is familiar about area. The location is perfect if you plan to explore Blyde Canyon and waterfalls, and town with shops and restaurants is in few kilometers. I wish we stayed in this hotel for more then one night.

We absolutely loved our stay at Thaba Tsweni! the lodge was in a great location, surrounded by beautiful nature. the mini-apartments were fully equipped with a spacious kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath tub, and a lovely bedroom. As vegetarians, we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen where we could prepare our own meals. the owner, an ecologist by profession, gave us useful hints and suggestions for local visits, including Kruger Park. the breakfast provided was abundant and delicious. We also loved the privacy of the braai area and the free wifi in common areas.

We felt very secure during our stay and had no complaints at all.

Loved the comfort homely feeling of the rooms. The views were amazing. Really liked the beautiful well kept gardens.

The only difficulty we had was that the shower floor was quite slippery. This is a concern.

Pet Dogs/Cats need to be restricted as lodges are open and cleanliness can be compromised.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the rustic and beautiful setting of Thaba Tsweni Lodge. The staff was trustworthy, friendly, and always ready to assist. The lodge was conveniently located near the main road and served as a perfect launching point for various activities. A great place to return to.

Some early morning noise from on site( maintenance?) work near our chalet .probably seasonal and infrequent but scope for better management where guests in close proximity.

Very nice environment and excellent location.

Lack of sound proofing meant that we could hear lots of noise from neighbouring chalet, including snoring at night!
